Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, EMPOWER is accelerating the adoption of workplace charging across the country. It’s also the first and only equity-focused nationwide project of its kind.

Workplace charging empowers employees to make the switch to electric vehicles, saving them money and reducing their carbon footprint. While not everyone might have access to a charger at home, knowing their place of work offers chargers bring peace of mind and expands access to charging. Workplace charging is defined as electric vehicle charging that is available to employees by the employer.

EMPOWER supports forward-thinking employers through the complex process of installing chargers, and recognize them for providing this life-changing perk to their employees.
