“There are so many reasons to choose electric and we are very fortunate to have some the cleanest and cheapest electricity in the United States, this makes our community one of the best places to truly be on the receiving end of the many benefits of EVs.”
EV Experience
The Electric Vehicle (EV) Experience program is open to those who live and work in Teton County, WY. This no-strings-attached trial is an opportunity to: practice charging, locate public charging stations, plan daily trips according to the range and feel more comfortable with new technology. There is no cost to participate in the EV Experience and is generously funded by the Teton Conservation District.
Whether you are considering an EV purchase, or are curious about how plain fun an EV is to drive, you are invited to sign up for our EV Experience.
Program Details
Individuals can borrow the electric vehicle (EV) for 3 day increments.
Loans begin on Tuesday or Friday.
The EV will be picked up at the EV Experience parking space in the Teton County library’s parking lot between 9:00am and 10:00am on the day you selected for your loan.
Businesses and government entities can borrow the vehicle for one-two week loans depending on staff size and number of department trials. YTCC staff will work out this loan agreement with each indiviudal entity.
Those who borrow the electric vehicle must fill out a pre and post survey.
Those who borrow the electric vehicle must charge the vehicle at least one time during their loan. This is so those who borrow the vehicle also experience charging an electric vehicle in addition to driving one.
Select a date you would like to begin your loan at the Calendly link in the “Schedule Your EV Experience today” button below.
YTCC staff will follow up with a form you will need to fill out and sign prior to your loan beginning.
Borrowers will meet a YTCC staff member at the EV Experience parking space in the Teton County library to receive the keys and to hear a quick overview of driving the F-150 Lightning.
Those who are late by more than a half hour or do not show-up to pick-up the keys and begin their loan will be responsible for a $50.00 inconvenience fee.
