2026 Award Recipients

The success of clean transportation in the Greater Yellowstone region depends on dedicated partners who are willing to lead, innovate, and take action. These award recipients exemplify the collaboration and commitment that make progress possible!

Alternative Fuels Sunshine Award - Aaron Pruzan, Rendezvous River Sports

Aaron Pruzan owner and founder of Rendezvous River Sports has owned and operated electric vehicles through his business for over a decade. Aaron also received two Level 2 stations through YTCC’s Level 2 electric vehicle charging station rebate program and offers these stations to the public and his employees. Aaron is a true advocate of electric transportation; he regularly and enthusiastically participates in YTCC electric vehicle showcase events and easily discusses the benefits of driving electric. Aaron’s electric Chevrolet Bolt and Chevrolet Equinox can be spotted towing boat trailers or having several boats secured to the roof. If electric cars can serve a business regularly towing and transportation boats on rural, mountainous roads, it can be used for many different business endeavors. Aaron, thank-you for your enthusiasm and for leading the way!

Alternative Fuels Accelerator Award – Big Sky Resort

Big Sky Resort, through Amy Fonte and Natacha Sagel’s leadership received the transportation accelerator award. Big Sky resort quickly moved into using renewable diesel shortly after learning about the fuel through YTCC’s Renewable Diesel outreach. Additionally, Big Sky Resort secured a unique partnership with Rivian to transport skiers from their parking area to the ski resort base during the ski season. This type of program resulted in Big Sky resort guests naturally having the opportunity to experience an electric vehicle and see its capability first hand by providing such a practical use. And finally, Big Sky Resort has secured funding from the Montana Department of Environmental Quality to purchase and build out a fully electric shuttle through Harbinger motors. This is a unique vehicle type to electrify and will provide a model for others in our region. Thank-you Amy and Natacha for accelerating clean fuels in your operations.

Alternative Fuel Trailblazer Award – Teton Village Association and 106West Logistics

Our Alternative Fuel Trailblazer Award goes to Teton Village Association (TVA) and 106West Logistics for the electric delivery hub program they launched late in 2025. Through TVA Executive Director, Meghan Quinn’s leadership and 106West Logistics, Kolby Ward’s execution, this project was brought to life.

TVA installed a delivery dock at the front of the Village where large trucks drop their goods to be sorted. After sorting, the goods are dispersed to small electric carts that move easily, quietly and with zero-tail pipe emissions to deliver the items to stores and restaurants throughout the village. The program has removed large idling trucks from the small streets and alleys of the village, reduced congestion, pollution and increased the visitor experience.

Teton Village Association and 106West Logistics have received the Trailblazer award for bringing a unique idea into a fully functioning program. This is a highly replicable program for other towns and resorts in our region and we are happy to elevate this solution. Thank-you Meghan and your team at TVA and Kolby and your team at 106West Logistics for creating and executing this model program.

Alternative Fuel Excellence Award – Representative Mike Yin

In the summer of 2025 Wyoming Department of Transportation began requiring electric vehicle charging station owners to pay a fee to register their station and collect a fuel tax on the sale of electricity.  Representative Mike Yin immediately recognized this program caused a triple taxation scenario for electric vehicle owners and was highly restrictive to Level 2 station owners.  EV owners were paying for their use of the roads through their annual electric vehicle registration fee, sales tax and now through the fuel tax. Representative Mike Yin realized this state program could only be fixed through legislation and he listened to his constituents and EV owners and charging station owners throughout the state, WY DOT and his fellow legislatures to write HB 145, Removing triple taxation for resident EV drivers. This bill was signed into law on March 7th 2026. YTCC greatly appreciates Representative Yins ability to put forth a unifying electric vehicle bill that was had bipartisan support, we applaud your inspiring work through our Alternative Fuel Excellence Award.

Alternative Fuel Champion Award – Tanya Anderson, Ecosystem Stewardship Administrator, Town of Jackson

Looking back to 2022, Tanya Anderson worked with Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities and Teton County to organize a community EVSE planning workshop. We invited business, federal agencies (forest service,  national park service etc.), and other local entities like Teton Village Association and the airport, to discuss electric vehicle charging station priority locations and more. This program poised the Town of Jackson and these partners to more easily convene and apply for charging station funding. When the Department of Transportation Clean Fuels and Infrastructure grant was announced, those from the original convening met to discuss. Tanya could have just applied for these funds on behalf of just the Town of Jackson, but she recognized the value in supporting the growth of charging infrastructure in the region and offered to be the prime and support 8 partners to fully build out a robust charging ecosystem. Federal grants are time consuming to manage and she has managed this grant with great attention to detail and grace. Beyond her ability to rise the tide rather than go it alone,

Tanya is curious and constantly researching and learning about different solutions. Her persistence has allowed the Town of Jackson to pilot the use of RD in their vehicles. She also offers unique incentives and programs to the Town of Jackson employees to ensure as many as possible are not traveling to work in a single occupancy vehicle. Tanya’s long-term vision allows the Town of Jackson to be ready for opportunities and her work ethic and passion towards action over talk is an inspiration to us all.

Thank-you Tanya, you are YTCC’s 2026 Alternative Fuel Champion.
